A Little About Me...
I grew up in Kansas City and kicked off my fashion career at 16, working in a local upscale men’s store. That same year, a birthday trip to Beverly Hills with my dad had me hooked on the shopping, restaurants, beaches, and perfect LA weather—I knew then that I’d one day call California home. After studying Apparel and Textile Marketing in college, I made the move to LA and dove headfirst into the fashion world.
I met my husband (and best friend) in LA, where we married and had our two boys. We spent the early years raising our boys in sunny Southern California and in 2012 we took the leap and moved to New York. We have happily lived a bicoastal life ever since!
My fashion journey has taken me from retail in Beverly Hills to luxury fashion in New York, with a career that’s spanned fashion, luxury retail, photography and real estate. My love for design was sparked early by my mom, who was always redecorating, tackling a DIY project and taking me on home tours—from holiday Parades of Homes in Kansas City to exploring historic Southern mansions.
My husband and I share a passion for homes, and over the years, we’ve bought and renovated 15 properties—and counting! I find inspiration in everything from fabrics to architecture, and I’m always excited to bring beauty into a space.
This blog came together as a creative space where I can share things I love and tips that I think might be helpful. I hope you’ll enjoy my blog, where I bring together my passion for fashion, home decor, wellness and beauty and a bunch of living in between.
